The ESG

An ESG operating system built around evidence.

ESG reporting is a data problem before it is a writing problem. The information sits across utility bills, invoices, certificates and site records, and the figure that reaches the report is usually separated from whatever proves it. The ESG keeps them attached — from the source document through to the disclosure.

How it works

  1. 01Evidence
  2. 02Fact
  3. 03DataPoint
  4. 04KPI
  5. 05Disclosure
  6. 06Report
Each stage is derived from the one before it, and the chain runs both ways. A number in a finished report can be followed back to the page of the bill it came from — which is what makes a disclosure defensible when somebody asks.

What The ESG does

Documents in, reviewed data out

Bills, invoices and certificates are read and their values extracted with a confidence score per field. Everything goes through an extraction review — the source document beside the extracted value — and a person approves or rejects before it becomes data.

Frameworks, not spreadsheets

A metric library and calculation layer sit between the raw data and the disclosures, with readiness tracked per framework rather than assembled fresh each reporting cycle.

Carbon accounting across all three scopes

Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions with intensity measures, renewable share, and a net-zero pathway modelled against the target trajectory rather than stated as an aspiration.

Built to be audited

Every extracted value carries a file and field reference, and an audit log records what changed. Assurance and supplier data sit in the same system as the figures they relate to.
