AI products built from recurring business problems

When the same problem appears across businesses, the solution is worth building properly. These two came that way — from implementation work, not from a technology looking for a market.

BISBridge

Connects the weighing balance to the BIS hallmarking portal.

At an Assaying and Hallmarking Centre, every article in a consignment has to be weighed, tagged and photographed, and each value typed into the BIS HUID portal by hand. BISBridge connects the balance directly to the portal, so the weight goes from the instrument into the right field without anyone reading a display and retyping it.

About BISBridge

How it works

  1. 01Balance
  2. 02Capture
  3. 03Tag
  4. 04Photograph
  5. 05BIS portal
The balance connects over a serial port and its live reading appears beside the portal form. The operator captures the weight, assigns the tag and takes the article photo for each row, then moves to the next — without leaving the page or transcribing anything.

The ESG

An ESG operating system built around evidence.

ESG reporting is a data problem before it is a writing problem. The information sits across utility bills, invoices, certificates and site records, and the figure that reaches the report is usually separated from whatever proves it. The ESG keeps them attached — from the source document through to the disclosure.

About The ESG

How it works

  1. 01Evidence
  2. 02Fact
  3. 03DataPoint
  4. 04KPI
  5. 05Disclosure
  6. 06Report
Each stage is derived from the one before it, and the chain runs both ways. A number in a finished report can be followed back to the page of the bill it came from — which is what makes a disclosure defensible when somebody asks.

Where our products come from

We don't build products because we think a market needs them. We solve a real problem for a real business, and when the same problem turns up again, that repetition is the evidence a product is worth building.

How we implement AI
  1. 01Solve onceBuild for one real business with one real problem.
  2. 02LearnFind out what actually mattered and what we got wrong.
  3. 03Solve againA different business, a similar problem, a second data point.
  4. 04Recognise the patternThe same shape appearing repeatedly is the signal.
  5. 05ProductiseOnly then does it become a product. BISBridge and The ESG came this way.
