Tender Watchdog

Continuous monitoring of tender sources, so relevant opportunities surface instead of being discovered too late.

Before

Someone checked tender portals manually, on whatever rhythm the week allowed. Different sources published in different formats and on different schedules, so keeping up meant repeatedly visiting the same sites and scanning the same kinds of listings for anything relevant.

After

Monitoring runs continuously rather than whenever someone has time for it. Relevant tenders arrive already summarised, with the deadline and the key requirements visible immediately, so the decision to pursue or pass can be made quickly.

The problem

Manual monitoring does not scale, and it fails quietly. Miss a few days and a deadline passes unnoticed. Broaden the search and the volume becomes unmanageable; narrow it and relevant work gets filtered out by accident. The failure mode is invisible — nobody sees the opportunity that was never spotted.

What we built

We built a monitoring system that watches the relevant sources continuously and collects new tenders as they are published, normalising them into one consistent view regardless of which portal they came from and what format they arrived in. Anything relevant is surfaced to the right person with the key details already extracted.

Where AI enters

AI does the reading. It interprets tender listings and attached documents, extracts the details that determine whether an opportunity is worth pursuing — scope, deadline, eligibility, submission requirements — and assesses relevance against what the business actually does. This is the step that made continuous monitoring practical: the volume only becomes manageable once something can read and judge each item rather than just fetch it.

Business value

The business can watch considerably more sources than a person could sustain by hand, and opportunities are far less likely to be missed because nobody got to the portal that week. Effort shifts from finding tenders to deciding which ones are worth the bid.
